Peer Review Process

All received manuscripts are primarily evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or one of the editors to ensure that they meet the journal's aims, scope and policy. Eligible manuscripts are then going through the review process by sending them to at least two expert reviewers. In order to achieve an efficient and fair assessment without any prejudicial attitude, double-blind review process is used in the Journal of Stress Analysis. This means that the author(s) identities are concealed from the reviewer(s) and vice versa, during the review process.

Reviewing process takes about three months, on average and the corresponding author is then informed of the initial decision and referees comments via an e-mail. Authors are strongly suggested to response to all referees' comments and revise their manuscripts on the basis of these comments. After author's revision and reviewer's final evaluation, the corresponding author will be informed of the final decision via another e-mail.
